TELUS International has announced that it has finalized the acquisition of WillowTree after meeting all conditions and regulatory approvals.
WillowTree will bring its expertise in front-end design and development to TELUS International's range of customer experience services. Together, the two companies will offer a comprehensive set of capabilities throughout the customer journey.
This move is expected to strengthen the company's design and development capabilities and to bring new cross-selling and upselling opportunities, as well as support TELUS Corporation's digital transformation efforts.

TELUS International's client base, which includes over 600 clients, will expand through WillowTree's roster of high-profile brands, including FOX, PepsiCo, and Synchrony.
The acquisition will also increase TELUS International's presence in two new countries and bring in experienced tech talent who align with the company's values. Like TELUS International, WillowTree has managed to grow while keeping capital expenditure as a low percentage of revenue, resulting in strong free cash flow conversion that will support TELUS International's efforts to reduce debt after the acquisition is completed.
