At the VMware Explore 2022 Europe, VMware has announced new offerings and innovations, along with expanded partnerships, to enable customers to streamline their journey to multi-cloud.

Customers recognize that a multi-cloud environment provides them a choice of clouds—sovereign and global—in which to run their apps. VMware is there every step of the way to help customers turn multi-cloud complexity into a competitive advantage,” said Raghu Raghuram, CEO, VMware.
Since the introduction of private clouds in the early 2010s, the cloud as a concept underwent numerous changes to finally become the go-to solution for companies that want to excel in their industry. Combining the best of both worlds - private and public the multi-cloud approach enabled companies to choose the features from each cloud that best meet their needs. However, they have encountered a lot of challenges, such as security issues and skills shortages.
VMware is helping organizations overcome these challenges by offering a “Cloud Smart” approach, with flexibility across multiple clouds. Using cloud smart and all the multi-cloud operations, many organizations have achieved top-notch results. For instance, 97 percent of cloud-smart organizations say their revenue has grown due to the multi-cloud approach, and 96 percent say it has improved their profitability. This shows the importance of VMware Cross-Cloud services, as they help customers choose the right cloud for the right app.

VMware has announced new offerings which aim to help customers run, scale and secure their work across private and public clouds and at the edge. Some of the highlights are:

These solutions will enable partners to deliver services equivalent to those found in public clouds, while also assuring data is protected within national territories. Also, the SD-WAN solutions will help companies deliver applications and services more securely.
Navigation through the Multi-Cloud Era
VMware has revealed offerings for VMware Cross-Cloud services to help customers "navigate the multi-cloud era". VMware Cross-Cloud Services is a portfolio of cloud services that offer a simplified way to build, operate, access, and secure any application on any cloud, from any device. The Cross-Cloud service pillars include App Platform, Cloud Management, Cloud & Edge Infrastructure, Security & Networking, and Anywhere Workspace.
VMware is a provider of multi-cloud services for all apps, which enables digital innovation with enterprise control. The company's multi-cloud solutions enable customers to migrate to the cloud without recoding apps, modernize infrastructure, and operate consistently across the data center, the edge, and any cloud. These new offerings have been introduced at VMware Explore, the company's main event for all things multi-cloud.
