AI-powered software solutions provider RealPage has announced the integration of generative AI (GenAI) into its primary platform offerings, powered by the Lumina AI Platform.
“RealPage’s momentum with Lumina has been incredible, and I’m confident that incorporating Gen AI across our major platforms will drive significant value for our customers. We’ve unlocked the disruptive power of GenAI that will ultimately help remove costs and complexity for property management teams so they can better serve their residents,” said Dana Jones, RealPage CEO and President.
Addressing market challenges with data-driven solutions
With rising costs, high staff turnover, a surge in new apartment developments, and fierce competition for renters, property management firms face increasing pressure to boost occupancy rates and net operating income. The Lumina platform leverages AI and data to make RealPage products more intuitive, automated, and insightful, allowing property managers to improve retention, streamline operations, support staff, cut costs, and maximize revenue.
Lumina is the AI backbone across RealPage’s major platforms, integrating advanced technologies like GenAI, machine learning, and natural language processing into the company’s property technology tools and processes.
Expanding genAI capabilities
The company has also introduced new GenAI-driven features that offer a personalized, conversational interface to answer questions, deliver data, and automate tasks for both prospects and property teams across RealPage’s core platforms, including Front Office, OneSite Conventional, OneSite Affordable, Utility Management, and Spend Management.
For renters
In addition, for potential renters, Lumina boosts the leasing experience through GenAI, providing an omnichannel virtual assistant that provides round-the-clock answers to leasing inquiries. Lumina also supports Affordable Housing customers with AI-driven language assistance for renters with limited English proficiency, helping them overcome language barriers during the application process.
Key features include Knock AI Omnichannel, a GenAI virtual agent that delivers expert responses on apartment units, communities, and policies, and Affordable Online Leasing, which offers GenAI-powered translation services in Spanish, Vietnamese, and Farsi, with additional languages to be added.
For property teams
For property teams, Lumina introduces a GenAI “copilot” that acts as a virtual assistant, helping team members work more efficiently by providing personalized guidance and faster access to critical information. These AI enhancements enhance the employee experience, driving productivity, reducing training time, and providing enhanced support for property management staff.
