UserTesting has appointed David P. Smith as the new Chief Technology Officer, who will lead the engineering team and enhance the technology infrastructure to support the company's growth and entry into new markets.

David P. Smith brings extensive experience from his previous positions at R1 RCM, VisitPay, Zapproved, Wolters Kluwer, ACTIVE Network, and ServiceU Corporation. He has a successful history of developing scalable and reliable software solutions in the finance, legal, payment processing, and healthcare sectors. Smith has excelled in leveraging platforms like AWS and Azure to build and lead global teams, delivering high-performance solutions. His expertise has driven significant growth and success in his prior roles.
Kaj van de Loo, the current CTO, will transition to the role of Chief Innovation Officer. In this capacity, he will support large-scale deployments, integrate new technologies, and drive innovative workflows across the organization. Kaj will focus on transforming how organizations utilize experiential insights to generate new revenue streams, reduce costs, and mitigate risks in product development through close collaboration with customers.
