Comprehensive enterprise legal platform Litify has announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Anthropic to foster the development of responsible AI solutions tailored for the legal industry.
“We’ve been working with our clients for the past year to identify the areas where AI can be the most impactful to their legal businesses. Through that process, many have rightfully expressed concerns over the security risks of AI and its potential misuse of their data. By leveraging the security of AWS and Anthropic, along with our existing foundation built on Salesforce, our clients will unlock new efficiencies through the responsible use of AI — while advancing this technology for the broader legal industry,” said Curtis Brewer, CEO, Litify.
This partnership aims to address these concerns by implementing AI capabilities with stringent precautions suited to the sensitive nature of legal information, ensuring enhanced data security. Utilizing AWS and Anthropic's advanced technologies, Litify has adopted a single-tenant architecture to keep client information securely isolated. This architecture ensures that as clients access Litify's AI features, their data remains confidential and isolated from other clients, never persisting within the AI model.
Litify’s generative AI application is being developed using Anthropic’s Claude 3 model family, renowned for setting new benchmarks across various tasks. Claude was chosen for its ability to provide optimal security without compromising accuracy and speed.
It is one of the top-performing models available through Amazon Bedrock, a managed service offering access to leading large language models via a single API call. This ensures that Litify's entire AI application is fully hosted within AWS' advanced cloud infrastructure, safeguarding client data from exposure to the broader internet and preventing misuse in open AI models.
