Oracle has announced new features and capabilities within the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite. Introduced at the Oracle CloudWorld Tour event, the enhancements include updated planning tools, usage-based pricing options, and improved rebate management capabilities in the Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM) suite. In addition, the Oracle Fusion Applications suite will feature enhancements to quote-to-cash processes to increase operational efficiency and improve financial accuracy.
"The last few years have highlighted the value of supply chain insights, efficiency, and accuracy, and the consequences of moving too slow when a disruption occurs. With Oracle's complete suite of integrated applications, organizations can manage supply chain data on the same platform as finance, HR, and customer experience to accelerate processes like quote-to-cash and remove barriers that have traditionally existed between different business functions. This holistic approach creates an environment where AI and automation can flourish to help businesses drive efficiencies and achieve more with less," says Jon Chorley, Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Applications and Chief Sustainability Officer, Oracle.
Oracle Fusion Applications Suite includes the following updates:
Supply Chain Planning enhancement
Oracle has introduced an AI-powered feature in its Supply Chain Planning tool that leverages machine learning to enhance the accuracy of lead time estimates. The feature, embedded within the Planning Advisor, identifies variances based on actual performance and provides prioritized actions and resolution suggestions to address lead time trends and anomalies.
Quote-to-cash process in Oracle Fusion Applications
The Fusion Applications suite now includes an enhanced quote-to-cash process that centralizes subscription orchestration and usage ratings, improves order management, and reduces costs and time to market. The integration of Subscription Management, Configure Price and Quote, Order Management, and Financials allow customers to quote, capture, and fulfill orders more efficiently, including mixed orders of physical goods, subscriptions, and services.
New management tools in Oracle Channel Revenue Management
Oracle has introduced new rebate management capabilities in its Channel Revenue Management tool that automates rebate management. This move helps businesses streamline rebate programs, improve the accuracy of audit claims, and gain better visibility into program performance. By automating rebate calculation and financial settlement processes, the new capabilities improve payment accuracy, reduce administration costs, and allow for faster customer claim settlements.
The company's Cloud SCM, part of the Fusion Applications Suite, allows businesses to connect supply chain processes and react quickly to changing demand, supply, and market conditions. The suite includes applications for finance, supply chain, HR, and customer experience, providing a comprehensive set of enterprise applications on a single integrated cloud platform. Furthermore, Oracle's platform updates itself automatically, offering customers continuous access to new features every 90 days without downtime or disruption to their operations.
In October last year, Oracle NetSuite launched NetSuite SuitePeople Workforce Management - a solution that helps brands increase operational efficiency while reducing costs.
