Precisely’s New PSYTE US Dataset Transforms Audience Targeting

Precisely has unveiled the PSYTE US geodemographic segmentation data product that facilitates a clear and comprehensive classification of populations across all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. As an integral part of Precisely's expansive data enrichment portfolio, this product enables businesses to deepen their understanding of customer demographics, enhance personalized services, optimize audience targeting accuracy, and make informed decisions by extracting rich context from audience insights.

“The past few years have transformed the way in which people live, work, and travel – with companies challenged to derive meaningful insights from increasingly complex and multi-dimensional data. The PSYTE US geodemographic dataset helps simplify enrichment and access to insightful data, using proprietary techniques to help ensure that all foundational data is kept up-to-date, and accurately reflects the ever-changing nature of the US population,” said Dan Adams, SVP – Data Strategy & Operations at Precisely.

The dataset value is amplified through its integration with PreciselyID, a unique and persistent identifier, enabling tagged addresses to be effortlessly linked to Precisely's comprehensive data enrichment portfolio.

Managing vast amounts of data

The PSYTE US dataset addresses the challenge of managing vast amounts of data by enabling businesses to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and save time through leveraging geodemographic segmentation data. This provides a nuanced understanding of the population in specific areas, accelerating insights into socio-economic and behavioral characteristics for heightened customer engagement and loyalty.

In addition, the product classifies segments into 12 lifestyle groups and 63 distinctive neighborhood types, each easily identifiable through a common naming convention. This data from Precisely serves various critical purposes, including refining customer insights for personalized marketing and product strategies, aiding in location planning for new stores or services, and conducting investment analytics for assessing market risks and opportunities. Moreover, it is used for optimizing logistics and delivery planning based on audience preferences, and supporting emergency planning by offering insights into specific region demographics for effective policy planning and services deployment.

“The addition of the PreciselyID exponentially increases the valuable insights derived through PSYTE US geodemographic data by allowing it to easily connect to over 400 Precisely datasets, containing more than 9,000 attributes. It’s a powerful combination that provides premium levels of data context for organizations seeking to make confident location-based decisions,” said Adams.
