RingCentral Launches Its Own Event Solution for Virtual, In-Person, and Hybrid Events

RingCentral has made its all-in-one solutions for virtual, onsite, and hybrid events - RingCentral Events, globally available. RingCentral designed the solution on top of Hopin Events, the platform the company acquired back in August. RingCentral Events promises to deliver immersive and highly personalized event experiences with native registration, analytics, mobile app, check-in, and more.

“The world of events has dramatically changed over the past few years, and businesses have an opportunity to approach events in new and inventive ways that deliver unprecedented levels of engagement. With RingCentral Events, we’re giving customers an incredibly frictionless experience – with flexibility to host either a single or multi-track event, and advanced customization options. Coming soon, RingCentral Events will include AI-infused capabilities to drive smarter event experiences for both organizers and attendees,” said Kristen Koenig, Head of Channel and Business Partnerships, RingCentral Events.

The latest addition to RingCentral’s comprehensive business communications suite that includes RingCentral MVP, RingCX, RingCentral Video, RingCentral Rooms, and RingCentral Webinar, the solution enables brands to create custom event pages within minutes with virtually no coding experience - only through fully customizable templates and modular blocks.

RingCentral plans to implement AI-based features soon to simplify and automate tasks to free up time for event organizers. These include Smart Content Generator, Smart Q&A, Smart Clips, and others.

On top of this, RingCentral Events is highly scalable and can admit more than 100,000 attendees per event.

One of the early adopters of the solution is the non-profit organization Women Who Code, which has a member base of 160,000 across 140 countries. So far, the organization has hosted more than 15 events on RingCentral Events, leveraging the variety of features the platform offers. Mackenzie Bryant, Senior Program Project of Women Who Code, pointed out live analytics and post-event data, which helped the team map out future events.

When it comes to pricing, RingCentral Events offers unlimited events starting at $750/year for up to 100 attendees.
