RingCentral has unveiled significant enhancements to its platform to revolutionize the way enterprises craft workflows. The platform enables both non-technical users and developers to effortlessly incorporate AI, video, and social messaging functionalities into their workflows without the need for coding. This process is facilitated through a user-friendly platform boasting hundreds of APIs and automated workflow capabilities.
“RingCentral is taking its platform capabilities to the next level. Regardless if you're a developer or an end-user, you can take advantage of our world-class platform with hundreds of APIs and automated workflows to drive critical business communications forward. Our developer community can leverage new APIs and SDKs for embedding RingSense AI, video, or social messaging into workflows. These enhancements reflect our next step in delivering no-code and low-code platform experiences and giving customers more intelligent and personalized capabilities,” said Srini Raghavan, Chief Product Officer, RingCentral.
The company's new RingSense AI APIs enable customers to produce transcriptions, summaries, and speaker identification from audio and video content, both from RingCentral and external sources. These tools allow developers to create apps offering deep insights from communication exchanges, enhancing customer engagement through features like keyword analysis to swiftly ascertain call topics and trends.
In addition, RingCentral has introduced a new Video API and SDK, which let developers seamlessly integrate live video interactions into their applications. This setup offers a customizable, secure environment with features like closed captioning and chat functionalities. The platform’s Social Messaging APIs extend app integration across various social media channels, enabling businesses to engage with customers on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and more.
These APIs are available at no cost in beta to RingCentral Video Pro+ and RingEX customers.
Workflow Builder
RingCentral has also introduced a new Workflow Builder as part of its latest update, designed to enhance efficiency and customer service in the workplace. This tool allows users to either leverage pre-designed templates or create their own bespoke workflows to automate routine tasks. Available templates include automated replies for when you're out of the office, predefined responses for frequently asked questions sent via SMS, notifications for missed voicemails, and after-hours responses to SMS messages.
The Workflow Builder is equipped with a user-friendly and powerful visual editor that supports the creation of more complex workflows. For instance, users can set up workflows to automatically respond to specific incoming SMS numbers or to trigger actions based on the content of a transcribed voicemail.
This new feature enables RingCentral users to offer more tailored responses to incoming communications such as chats, SMS messages, phone calls, or voice messages, enhancing the overall user experience with smarter and more personalized interactions.
Improving its ISV Partner Program
The company also enhances its ISV Partner Program to streamline the partner experience, facilitating easier integration and collaborative go-to-market strategies. With a growing RingCentral App Gallery, customers and developers can anticipate a broader selection of integration options, boosting daily productivity and connectivity.
In other news, RingCentral has introduced a unified patient care solution designed for healthcare organizations worldwide.
