Salesforce has announced that it is acquiring PredictSpring, a retail Point-of-Sale (POS) software vendor built natively in the cloud. While the financial details of the acquisition remain unknown, the transition is expected to close in Q3 2025.
The move will enable Salesforce to provide a unified omnichannel platform spanning digital and physical channels. PredictSpring will build on existing Customer 360 capabilities and translate Salesforce’s technology further into the physical store.
PredictSpring’s Cloud POS solutions allow store associates to assist shoppers and finalize transactions anywhere in the store using a mobile device. In addition, the solutions offer features like Clienteling, Endless Aisle, Store Fulfillment, and Store Operations, which help store associates enhance and personalize the shopping experience across both physical and digital platforms.
“Consumers demand a retail experience that seamlessly blends physical and digital shopping. The combined talent, resources, and innovation of Salesforce and PredictSpring will empower brands and retailers to drive frictionless and personalized engagement across all touchpoints,” said Jeff Amann, EVP, Salesforce Industries.
PredictSpring is an existing Salesforce ecosystem partner with several strategic retail customers and is already integrated with Commerce Cloud and Service Cloud.
“We are excited about the future of PredictSpring and about what this means for the retail industry at large. PredictSpring has taken great pride in powering omnichannel experiences for many of the world’s leading brands and retailers, and we’re energized by the opportunity to make an even greater impact on the future of shopping as part of Salesforce,” says Nitin Mangtani, Founder & CEO, PredictSpring.
