Digital strategy provider Virtusa has signed a multi-year agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS), to establish The Generative AI & Data Lab, a hub dedicated to advancing customers' data migration to the cloud and modernizing their IT services by incorporating AI, machine learning (ML), and Generative AI technologies.

As part of the agreement, Virtusa has inaugurated four Generative AI Labs in Virtual, New York, London, and Singapore, with New York serving as the testing ground for life sciences research use cases and quality control for Verint Systems, a Fortune 50 company. The collaboration involves accelerating data and AI modernization, leveraging Bedrock to expedite and automate research and quality control processes.
The Generative AI & Data Lab offers a range of services, including fast-tracking customers' initial data and AI/ML deployments to AWS and delivering a tailored approach to enhance their capabilities and processes for future AWS endeavors. AWS and Virtusa's multidisciplinary experts provide comprehensive guidance on AI, ML, and cloud-based data, assisting customers in formulating business strategies, creating migration and ML operational roadmaps, optimizing cloud migration, and establishing a modernized platform for continuous data and ML operations.
The support also extends to business rationalization, organizational change management, and addressing technical readiness concerns through training and management of data and ML operations. This collaborative effort, coupled with an AI/ML Managed Services Offering, streamlines and expedites customers' utilization of AI/ML and Generative AI technologies.
Leveraging Virtusa's comprehensive capabilities in end-to-end data and AI/ML modernization, combined with the robust capabilities of AWS, customers can harness key AWS services such as Amazon Glue, Amazon CloudFormation, Amazon IAM (Identity and Access Management), Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon CodeWhisperer for accelerated business modernization. The collaborative efforts encompass a spectrum of custom cloud data solutions, addressing migration, modernization, global cloud strategy, operations, ML modernization, and managed services.
