Online brand management company Yext has announced new capabilities that will enable restaurant brands to customize pickup and delivery options on their Google Business Profiles.
Google Place Actions enable users to order through third-party services or a restaurant’s website. When these options aren't available, there is a text that reads “may offer delivery” and “may offer pickup.” With Place Action links, consumers have more assurance with their orders and are able to find and place orders online with more ease. Further, Place Action links may also improve a location’s rank in organic search results.
“We are committed to continually improving our publisher integrations. Consumers are increasingly likely to opt for delivery or takeout options when they browse through a list of restaurants online. With Yext, any restaurant brand can now leverage Google Place Actions on their listings to increase engagement, drive more business, and improve the overall digital customer experience, ”said Marc Ferrentino, President and Chief Operating Officer at Yext.
These new features help restaurant owners connect with consumers and make it easier for them to convert into paying customers.
What Yext does is sync sensitive business information to over 100 million location listings, as well as give annual updates throughout the industry's network of integration partners, including Google, Amazon Alexa, Apple Maps, Facebook, etc.
