Technology company Continental has joined forces with Google Cloud to offer cutting-edge, adaptable, and forward-looking digital solutions tailored for the automotive sector.
This collaboration will merge Continental's knowledge of automotive technology with Google's data and AI capabilities, paving the way for a fresh wave of automotive solutions prioritizing safety, efficiency, and user satisfaction. Additionally, both parties aim to expand their strategic alliance to explore further areas of future cooperation to enhance in-car connectivity and customer experiences.

Continental will incorporate Google Cloud's Conversational AI technologies into its Smart Cockpit High-Performance Computer (HPC) system, operating on Android Automotive OS (AAOS). This integration aims to revolutionize automotive voice assistants. This advancement will introduce novel and convenient methods for passengers to interact with their vehicles using natural language and generative AI.

It ensures rapid response times and a user-friendly interface. Including pre-integrated functions for the cluster, infotainment, and visual driver assistance not only lowers expenses but also accelerates the introduction of new vehicles and enhanced experiences by automakers into the market.
