Jasper has sealed a deal to acquire Clipdrop, an innovative AI platform for image creation and editing previously owned by Stability AI.
Established in 2020, Clipdrop provides users with the ability to edit existing images, create new ones, and explore a multitude of variations in size, detail, and style.

The entire Clipdrop team has seamlessly integrated into Jasper, taking charge of multimodal research and innovation from their headquarters in Paris—a hub of AI innovation in Europe. With this acquisition, Jasper not only extends its reach into the European market but also outlines plans for sustained investment in talent and customer acquisition in the region. The company is enthusiastic about actively contributing to the dynamic AI community in Paris.

Damien Henry will not only continue to spearhead the advancement of AI-assisted image creation and editing but will also take on an expanded leadership role in driving research and innovation across the entire Jasper product.
The acquisition of Clipdrop was finalized on February 20, 2024. Business customers can access Clipdrop through the Jasper API, with plans for a more seamless integration of its functionalities into the copilot over time.
Elsewhere, Jasper has introduced its Solutions Partner Program with the aim of collaborating with marketing agencies as they transform their service offerings, enhance AI expertise, and reevaluate pricing structures.
