Affinity Supercharges its Platform with GenAI Capabilities

Relationship intelligence platform Affinity has introduced generative AI-powered capabilities to enhance dealmaker teams' efficiency. These features provide more actionable insights within the CRM system and in web browsers, emails, and virtual meetings.

Additionally, Affinity has introduced new community licenses, streamlining the process for firms to offer portfolio support, including activities like hiring, network access, investor updates, and improved collaboration with partners.

These recent enhancements and the ISO27001 certification bolster the effectiveness of every aspect of private capital workflows, spanning from deal origination and portfolio management to investor relations.

“Today Affinity takes a step forward in becoming a full-service investment platform. The addition of these generative AI-powered features as well as our community licenses support dealmakers throughout the deal cycle, making it more efficient for teams to find and close more high-quality deals—and ensure those investments are successful,” said Andy Bryson, Chief Product Officer, Affinity.

Streamlining the initial analysis process for investors

By integrating generative AI into Affinity's automation and relationship intelligence scoring, the platform has facilitated the initial competitive analysis process for investors. It identifies and presents similar and related companies operating in a prospect's industry.

This enhancement enables users to collect structured meeting notes and transcripts, synchronize them with their CRM system, and automatically generate key information snippets. These generated insights can be effectively utilized in investment memos and tearsheets, saving time and improving investment decision-making.

Affinity offers comprehensive support for all aspects of dealmaking workflows, going beyond deal management to portfolio management and investor relations. The recently introduced community licenses enable deal teams to provide founders, important investors, and external advisors with a dedicated, private view into lists. This simplifies various forms of external collaboration, such as aiding in hiring processes and keeping everyone updated on the pipeline, enhancing the overall investor experience.

Affinity has unveiled additional security and enterprise-level certifications, including ISO27001, as part of its commitment to safeguard the relationship and deal data of its expanding and worldwide customer community.

“We live in an increasingly relationship-driven economy—relationships are an asset and the currency that often separates leaders from laggers. Today we help more than 3,000 organizations in over 80 countries turn all their data points—calendar invites, emails and internal network connections—into data-driven insights on relationships to find and close more deals, raise more funds, and support portfolio companies. Keeping this secure is one of our most important responsibilities,” said Peter Romano, Chief Information Security Officer, Affinity.
