mPulse Elevates Healthcare Consumer Experience with Two Acquisitions

mPulse has completed the acquisition of HealthTrio and Decision Point Healthcare Solutions, to advance the overall healthcare consumer experience.

The strategic takeover of HealthTrio, an extensive health management solutions provider, along with Decision Point, an analytics and member experience optimization company, enables mPulse to provide member engagement, analytics, and activation services for healthcare organizations.

This collaboration will provide healthcare organizations with a comprehensive strategy for engaging across various channels, improving member experiences, and enhancing overall quality. Farrell emphasized that the merged entity will benefit from a significant scale, enabling further investment in the improvement of products and solutions for their shared base of forward-thinking customers.

PSG, the current majority investor in mPulse, played a key role in supporting the recent transactions, joined by additional investments from existing shareholders and the current management teams of mPulse, HealthTrio, and Decision Point. Marco Ferrari, Managing Director at PSG, highlighted that the acquisitions of HealthTrio and Decision Point enhance mPulse's leadership in digital health and the facilitation of health consumerism, which are critical focus areas for both payers and providers.

Reid McCann, Principal at PSG, expressed anticipation in aiding mPulse's acceleration of their mission to create a more meaningful member experience and enhance health outcomes.

In April this year, mPulse Mobile released mPulse for Salesforce on Salesforce AppExchange, which allows healthcare organizations to leverage SMS texting outreach to connect with their patients and members.
