Salesforce Shield Is Now Available for Vonage Contact Center Solution

Vonage has launched Salesforce Shield for Vonage Contact Center (VCC) and Vonage for Service Cloud Voice (SCV). Salesforce Shield adds additional compliance with business requirements and security features for those using Vonage Contact Center with Salesforce.

Both solutions, VCC and SCV, which integrate all communications channels, now support Salesforce Shield encryption, provided they are plugged into the Salesforce platform. In addition, Vonage’s cloud contact center solution may help businesses improve performance and connectivity with customers and employees alike. For instance, a healthcare company can manage and protect all types of personal information of its patients while still allowing agents to run workflows and perform other functions using that data in order to meet the patient's needs.

Salesforce Shield provides businesses with tools that protect customer data and increase trust and governance for agents, all while creating a positive customer experience with easy access to information. It includes Shield Platform Encryption, Event Monitoring, and Field Audit Trail.

In addition, Salesforce Shield leverages AES 256-bit encryption to ensure the protection of the most sensitive data across all Salesforce apps. It also helps bring existing encryption keys and manage key lifecycles, secure and protect sensitive data from all Salesforce users and admins, and meet regulatory compliance requirements.
