ServiceNow and Keensight Capital, a European Growth Buyout investor, have jointly announced a strategic investment in Plat4mation. Recognized as a global IT consultancy and an implementation partner for ServiceNow, Plat4mation is set to benefit from this collaboration to expedite customer time to value and foster partner growth. This investment, marking ServiceNow Ecosystem Ventures' inaugural venture in Europe, aims to bolster go-to-market capabilities and enhance proficiency in ServiceNow's generative AI technology.
“Plat4mation is an esteemed partner that has been instrumental in selling and delivering compelling business value and outcomes to our joint customers across the globe. Plat4mation plans to expand its ability to digitally transform and apply generative AI to targeted ‘use cases’ in some of the most innovative medium-sized businesses in Germany, helping their ongoing competitiveness, differentiation and growth,” said David Parsons, senior vice president of Ecosystem Ventures at ServiceNow.
Another power move by ServiceNow was the company's latest acquisition of UltimateSuite, a task mining company, to strengthen its process mining and intelligent automation capabilities on the Now Platform.
Plat4mation, leveraging its existing ServiceNow experience, plans to broaden its footprint across the global customer and employee base. With a focus on the Mittelstand, Germany's vital medium-sized business segment, Plat4mation aims to contribute to the digital transformation efforts within this sector. As a European-based company, Plat4mation intends to leverage its regional expertise to drive increased ServiceNow adoption and value.
“Over the last 10 years, we built a global workforce of more than 450 employees to help our customers make workflow in every part of their business by providing ServiceNow advisory, industry and domain expertise. As a ServiceNow pure-play partner, our destiny has always been intertwined with the success of ServiceNow. This investment pays tribute to our long-standing, mutually beneficial partnership. We look forward to further contributing to the success of ServiceNow by strategically expanding our footprint in the German Mittelstand, EMEA & U.S. markets,” said Elmer de Valk, CEO of Plat4mation.
As part of this initiative, Plat4mation plans to bring on board more than 400 new ServiceNow-skilled individuals to support RiseUp with ServiceNow, a global skilling initiative with the goal of training one million individuals on the Now Platform.
In this strategic investment, Keensight Capital takes the lead, with ServiceNow Ecosystem Ventures participating as a co-investor.
