Abnormal Security has unveiled that it has achieved the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) “In Process” status and is being listed on the FedRAMP marketplace.

By pursuing FedRAMP authorization, Abnormal will allow US federal government agencies to leverage its AI-powered human behavior security platform to boost their defenses against sophisticated, socially engineered email threats. Achieving this is a crucial step toward acquiring a FedRAMP Moderate Authority to Operate (ATO), which is expected in the first half of 2025. Abnormal Security's approach to email security is unique, as it focuses on understanding human behavior.
The platform utilizes API connections to analyze millions of signals from various data sources and create a baseline of expected behavior inside an organization. Its autonomous AI models can then detect anomalous activity and stop previously unknown assaults with unprecedented speed and precision, using a greater understanding of human behavior to provide superior protection.
