Amazon Web Services (AWS) is investing $100 million in a new program titled AWS Generative AI Innovation Center to help customers successfully build and deploy generative AI solutions. The program will connect AWS AI and machine learning experts with customers around the globe to help them build, design, and launch new generative AI products, services, and processes. AWS customers like HighSpot, Ryanair, and Twilio are already exploring developing this type of solution.
“Amazon has more than 25 years of AI experience, and more than 100,000 customers have used AWS AI and ML services to address some of their biggest opportunities and challenges. Now, customers around the globe are hungry for guidance about how to get started quickly and securely with generative AI,” said Matt Garman, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Global Services at AWS.
The program will involve a team of strategists, data scientists, engineers, and solutions architects who will work side-by-side with customers to build tailored solutions with generative AI at their core. Healthcare and life sciences organizations will be able to leverage the program to find ways of accelerating drug research and discovery. At the same time, manufacturers may reinvent industrial design and processes with new solutions.
"The Generative AI Innovation Center is part of our goal to help every organization leverage AI by providing flexible and cost-effective generative AI services for the enterprise, alongside our team of generative AI experts to take advantage of all this new technology has to offer. Together with our global community of partners, we’re working with business leaders across every industry to help them maximize the impact of generative AI in their organizations, creating value for their customers, employees, and bottom line," added Garman.
At no cost, AWS customers will be eligible to attend workshops and training that will help them imagine and scope the use cases for the greatest value for their businesses based on best practices and industry expertise while minimizing costs.
