To meet the rising demand for secure cloud services, two global players have recently expanded their horizons, enhancing business continuity and customer experience in key regions. NICE's deployment of a second CXone Cloud Region in Osaka, Japan, and Sprinklr's local data hosting solution in Saudi Arabia through Google Cloud mark significant steps towards solidifying resilience and compliance.
NICE's CXone embraces business continuity
NICE has launched a second CXone Cloud Region in Osaka to provide reliable and secure cloud services. The move comes as a response to the increased demand for robust solutions in a region prone to natural disasters. With a focus on business continuity, NICE introduces a unique functionality tailored to the Japanese market – a business continuity (BCP) service for CXone in Osaka. This service ensures that CXone customers in Japan can operate contact center services within the country, adhering to regulatory requirements during unexpected events like earthquakes and typhoons.
“This investment demonstrates NICE’s commitment to better serve its Japanese customers. NICE understands the unique challenges in the region when it comes to natural disasters. This enhances the overall resilience of the CXone cloud infrastructure, ensuring business continuity for customers in the face of unforeseen events like earthquakes and typhoons. NICE intends to continue to invest in Japan to optimize service in the market,” said Darren Rushworth, President, NICE International.
Saudi Arabia welcomes Sprinklr's data-hosting revolution
Meanwhile, Sprinklr has extended its influence in the Middle East by launching a local data hosting solution in Saudi Arabia. Hosted on Google Cloud, Sprinklr's local hosting in Saudi Arabia provides a clear competitive advantage, positioning it as the customer experience platform for regional leaders.
“The ability to host data in Saudi Arabia will help Sprinklr continue to rapidly expand our business, deliver a high level of service, and meet the data hosting requirements of our customers in the region. Sprinklr is the first customer experience platform with local hosting in Saudi Arabia on Google Cloud, which we believe provides a clear competitive advantage and makes Sprinklr the customer experience platform of choice for regional leaders working to digitally transform their organizations and unify the front office,” said Haitham Elkhatib, Senior Vice President of Growth Markets at Sprinklr.
Sprinklr's expansion aligns with its broader strategy of catering to growth markets in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. By offering a local data hosting solution, Sprinklr ensures that customers in Saudi Arabia can easily comply with security, privacy, and governance regulations in the region.
This move by the company comes after its announcement that Sprinklr bought back up to $100 million worth of its Class A common stock.
As companies worldwide embrace digital transformation, NICE and Sprinklr's strategic expansions underscore the pivotal role of resilient cloud solutions in delivering uninterrupted customer experiences, even in the face of unforeseen challenges.
