Intel and DigitalBridge Group, an infrastructure solutions provider, have partnered to establish Articul8 AI (Articul8), an independent entity offering enterprise clients a comprehensive, vertically-optimized, and secure generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) software platform. This platform, developed using intellectual property from Intel, ensures AI capabilities are maintained within the enterprise security perimeter, allowing customers the flexibility of choosing cloud, on-premises, or hybrid deployment.
Arun Subramaniyan, former Vice President and General Manager in Intel’s Data Center and AI Group, now leads Articul8 as its CEO. Both Intel and DigitalBridge Group will continue strategic alignment, collaborating on go-to-market opportunities and promoting GenAI adoption in the enterprise.
“With its deep AI and HPC domain knowledge and enterprise-grade GenAI deployments, Articul8 is well positioned to deliver tangible business outcomes for Intel and our broader ecosystem of customers and partners. As Intel accelerates AI everywhere, we look forward to our continued collaboration with Articul8," said Pat Gelsinger, CEO, Intel.
Articul8 received primary investment backing from DigitalBridge Ventures, the venture arm of DigitalBridge. Intel, along with other prominent venture investors such as Fin Capital, Mindset Ventures, Communitas Capital, GiantLeap Capital, GS Futures, and Zain Group, has also secured an equity position in Articul8.
“Every global enterprise today is challenged to integrate GenAI capabilities into their workflows. Articul8 has built a scalable and easy-to-deploy GenAI software platform that is already enabling enterprises to unlock value from their proprietary data. We see GenAI as a pivotal force driving digital infrastructure, and we are pleased to collaborate with Intel to support Articul8’s growth,” said Marc Ganzi, CEO, DigitalBridge.
The platform presents a ready-to-use GenAI software platform designed to bring speed, security, and cost-efficiency for large enterprise clients aiming to implement and expand AI solutions. Initially optimized on Intel hardware architectures such as Intel Xeon Scalable processors and Intel Gaudi accelerators, Articul8 is adaptable to various hybrid infrastructure options. After an initial deployment at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), the platform has been successfully scaled for enterprise customers in sectors prioritizing high security and specific domain expertise, including financial services, aerospace, semiconductors, and telecommunications.
As a standalone entity backed by industry investments, Articul8 has the opportunity to expedite its market entry strategy and expand its product portfolio to serve the wider GenAI ecosystem.
