PCI Pal Brings Secure Payment to Zoom Contact Center

Cloud-based secure payment solutions PCI Pal has announced a partnership with Zoom to integrate PCI Pal Agent Assist and Digital Payments solutions into Zoom Contact Center and Zoom Phone.

The deal will enable Zoom business users to leverage PCI Pal's award-winning compliance solutions through a paid plan. The PCI Pal Agent Assist particularly helps Zoom users to process credit card information securely and efficiently through DTMF-masking and speech technology. This enables agents and customers to remain in communication while the payment is processed to ensure that sensitive information doesn't enter the contact center or phone environment.

“PCI Pal’s offerings are an excellent match for Zoom’s focus to help people and businesses collaborate and stay connected. As a valued, integrated partner, our payment solutions result in an excellent CX and EX for customers and merchants alike, creating a frictionless payment experience. We’re looking forward to working with Zoom today and in the future,” says Darren Gill, Chief Revenue Officer, PCI Pal.

PCI Pal Digital Payments allow contact center agents to process payments with full visibility across multiple engagement channels. In Zoom, customers will be able to make the payment digitally through a self-service channel or with an agent-assisted one. Further, the solution provides the highest level of PCI security through a Level 1 PCI DSS certification.

"We are delighted to partner with PCI Pal to elevate our payment and compliance proposition for our customers. PCI Pal’s flexibility and innovation mean we can empower businesses to facilitate payments securely throughout our Zoom CX and Phone portfolio," said Vi Chau, Head of Product – Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center.

According to the company's website, PCI Pal has a strong global ecosystem of PSPs, CCaaS, UCaaS and CRM organizations, including names like NICE, Freshworks, and Salesforce. A few months ago, PCI Pal doubled down on automatic speech recognition, releasing an upgraded version of the solution that has speech accuracy of 91.25%.
