Pegasystems has expanded its partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), by leveraging the newly introduced AWS European Sovereign Cloud to deliver the Pega EU Service Boundary – a solution designed to help clients meet the rigorous digital sovereignty requirements within the European Union (EU).
The launch of the Pega EU Service Boundary is scheduled to coincide with the AWS European Sovereign Cloud at the close of 2025.

The service will ensure that Pega handles data storage and processing entirely within the EU, overseen and supported by EU-based staff, providing the flexibility of Pega Cloud while addressing the strict digital sovereignty needs of clients in highly regulated sectors. By integrating Pega Cloud’s robust data isolation, access control, and process management features with the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, Pega will deliver improved digital sovereignty assurances across all levels of service, from its platform and technologies to the underlying infrastructure.
As enterprises increasingly rely on cloud services to scale data creation and processing, safeguarding data and ensuring its sovereignty within the cloud environment has become critical, especially for regulated industries like the public sector and financial services. The Pega EU Service Boundary will enable clients to comply with these stringent requirements, offering greater control over data storage, processing, access management, and the geographical location of personnel handling EU client data.
