Appian has unveiled the latest version of its Appian Platform to transform how organizations manage enterprise data and automate their processes. The release is mainly focused on broadening AI applications while ensuring compliance with current and upcoming AI regulations, offering a robust framework for businesses to navigate these challenges.

The upgraded platform has increased AI capabilities that are specifically targeted to improve data management and process automation across companies. One major improvement is the AI Copilot, which enables users to quickly access company data and documents using straightforward requests, decreasing the number of steps required to obtain accurate results. The AI Copilot and AI Skills in this release have also been HITRUST certified, indicating that they meet high security and regulatory standards such as HIPAA.

AI Copilot for Data Fabric: Now in preview, this feature provides instant insights from enterprise data within a unified chat interface, offering clear and reliable answers with source data citations.
Enterprise Copilot: Users can search through curated document sets by querying the AI, even without knowing the specific documents, streamlining the information retrieval process.
Process HQ with AI Suggestions: This update accelerates process analysis by presenting AI-recommended views, including key performance indicators (KPIs), process details, and filters, helping to ensure that critical questions are addressed effectively.
AI Copilot in Case Management Studio: Users can quickly find relevant information through case comment and document summaries, as well as create data fields with guided data modeling tools.
AI Copilot for Developers: Developers can automate the generation of test cases for expression rules, speeding up the process and increasing test coverage.
Apart from these AI enhancements, the platform's data fabric, low-code, and automation capabilities have also been upgraded to streamline workflows by integrating people, technology, and data into a cohesive system. This allows users to tackle business challenges more efficiently and focus on tasks that drive greater impact.
