UserTesting has announced that Eric Johnson has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, succeeding CEO Andy MacMillan, who has stepped down after successfully leading the company for over six years. MacMillan will continue to support UserTesting in an advisory capacity and remain an investor.
Johnson brings over two decades of leadership experience in market-leading enterprise software companies, most recently serving as CEO of Nintex, where he led the company's transition into a strategic platform for broad-based process automation. Nintex achieved remarkable customer satisfaction scores under Johnson's leadership and was certified a Great Place to Work.
Excited for upcoming opportunities, he said:
"It is a privilege to lead UserTesting into its next chapter, building on the strong foundation that Andy and the leadership team have established. UserTesting stands at the cusp of a tremendous market opportunity, especially as more organizations prioritize reducing quality costs and enhancing customer experiences. UserTesting is revolutionizing how companies create better products by capturing human insights and leveraging the voice of the customer earlier in the development process, before problems adversely impact customers.”
“Working closely with UserTesting’s executive leadership team, the Board, our employees, customers and partners has been a hugely rewarding experience, and I’m proud of what we have all accomplished together to put UserTesting on a strong path for further success. I have complete confidence in Eric’s ability to lead UserTesting to future long-term growth and innovation, and I look forward to continuing to support the Company as a Senior Advisor,” added Andy MacMillan.
Earlier this year, UserTesting appointed new Chief Technology and Chief Financial Officers.
