Cloud communications vendor Vonage has released Vonage AI Studio, a low-code/no-code tool that enables brands to build AI-powered customer engagement solutions such as bots and virtual assistants.
The studio consists of a drag-and-drop interface that requires no prior training from users to be able to create natural conversation flows on various communication channels, including voice, SMS, and WhatsApp.
To reduce the workload of developers and IT professionals, the studio enables almost anyone to build customer engagement solutions for self-service support, billing updates, and appointment scheduling.
In addition, Vonage AI Studio uses machine learning models to deliver high-performing messages, in cases of high call volumes.
"Today's businesses need to engage with customers across all modes of communication, seamlessly moving among channels and maintaining meaningful connections through every stage of the customer journey," said Savinay Berry, Executive Vice President, Product & Engineering for Vonage.
"With the launch of Vonage AI Studio as a standalone product, we are putting conversational building blocks right into our customers hands, powering automated messaging and speech-enabled applications that free up agents while providing their own customers with a personalized experience at every touchpoint."
Built on Vonage's natural language understanding (NLU) and automatic speech recognition (ASR) algorithms, the AI Studio allows the building of more intelligent communications channels from start to finish, removing the need for low-level AI integration.
Vonage’s NLU and automatic speech recognition algorithms are already part of the AI Virtual Assistant for unified communications and contact centers, via Vonage Business Communications (VBC) and Vonage Contact Center (VCC).
Organizations that prefer to have someone else build the conversational AI solution to their liking can sign up for Vonage’s a la carte services or purchase a complete Virtual Assistant package.
