Kyndryl, an IT infrastructure services provider, has announced an expanded collaboration with Google Cloud to advance responsible generative AI solutions and accelerate their adoption across various industries. Building on their partnership since 2021, Kyndryl and Google Cloud aim to integrate Google Cloud's advanced AI capabilities, including its LLM Gemini, with Kyndryl's expertise and managed services to create and deploy innovative generative AI solutions for customers.

Aligning generative AI and business objectives
The enhanced partnership will prioritize key focus areas, including offering comprehensive advisory and implementation services for AI and data foundations. Kyndryl's Consult services will help customers identify optimal use cases for generative AI aligned with their business objectives.
In addition, Kyndryl will utilize the Google Cloud Cortex Framework to maximize the value derived from customers' Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data on Google Cloud. This strategic move is designed to enhance productivity, foster innovation, and provide deeper business insights to drive positive outcomes for customers.
Kyndryl plans to introduce its new custom Large Language Model Operations (LLMOps) Framework to Google Cloud customers, offering solutions that address common challenges responsibly and cost-effectively. The company will continue supporting customers with a comprehensive suite of data modernization services to optimize their data foundations for generative AI solutions.

Expanding AI and data analytics through extensive training
To further boost generative AI development, Kyndryl will expand its AI and data analytics skills base through increased training available to practitioners via the Google Cloud Academy for Kyndryl. With investments in enhancing AI expertise, including Duet AI for Developers, and its participation in Google's generative AI Initiative for Service Partners, Kyndryl is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for generative AI solutions and deliver Google Cloud-powered solutions to customers.
In an early collaboration on generative AI solutions, Kyndryl and Google Cloud partnered with iHub Solutions, a Singapore-based smart warehouse, contract logistics, and e-commerce fulfillment services provider, to successfully launch a generative AI pilot for customer service.
Elsewhere, Google Cloud and Hugging Face have announced a strategic partnership aimed at advancing the mission of democratizing AI.
