8x8 has named Bruno Bertini its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this role, Bertini will report directly to CEO Samuel Wilson and be tasked with crafting and executing the company's worldwide marketing strategy. He aims to increase market recognition and expedite the company's demand generation and growth initiatives.

Bertini is an established technology marketing leader with more than 15 years of experience in the contact center and customer experience sector. Before joining 8x8, he held the position of Global Vice President of Demand Generation and Growth Marketing at Freshworks, where his responsibilities included expanding the market and increasing revenue.
Before his role at Freshworks, Bertini spent over eight years at Genesys, where he held various leadership positions, including Global Vice President for Partnerships, Alliances, and Ecosystem Marketing and Global Vice President for Revenue and Growth Marketing in the Americas.

This effort aims to enhance communication experiences for businesses and their global customers. Bertini will collaborate with Chief Revenue Officer Lisa Martin to establish a go-to-market program to foster strategic growth.
