Deloitte and Anthropic have announced a strategic collaboration to drive the adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) among clients in both the public and private sectors. By merging Deloitte's extensive industry expertise with Anthropic's advanced Claude model family, the partnership aims to create customized, enterprise-grade AI solutions that emphasize trustworthy and human-centered practices.
"Deloitte's relationship with Anthropic brings together our Trustworthy AI framework and the strength of their Claude 3 frontier model capabilities. Generative AI is already demonstrating significant value and potential for our commercial and government clients. As the technology increases in capability and more organizations deploy solutions at scale, trust, transparency, security and equity will remain non-negotiables," said Dounia Senawi, Chief Commercial Officer, Deloitte Consulting LLP.
This alliance will allow Deloitte's clients to develop and implement GenAI applications leveraging the Claude model family—Anthropic's sophisticated large language models (LLMs). The collaboration aligns Deloitte's Trustworthy AI framework with Anthropic's Constitutional AI training approach, which incorporates ethical safeguards.
Several business applications
Deloitte has already started developing several business applications powered by Anthropic that will be available this year for commercial and government clients.
The initial solution, Deloitte's C Suite AI for CFOs, aims to streamline enterprise contract workflows, providing a custom GPT to answer CFO queries, generate investor documentation drafts, and automate customer service. This tool enhances financial functions in areas such as planning, operations, reporting, and investor relations. C-Suite AI, powered by NVIDIA, assists financial services clients in building custom LLMs using Amazon Bedrock from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Moreover, Deloitte will create Claude-powered AI solutions to help clients improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making in crucial business processes. This initiative aligns with Deloitte's IndustryAdvantage program, a strategic $2 billion investment to co-innovate with eligible clients and partners to develop industry-specific solutions.
Sample use cases
In financial services, Claude can analyze large volumes of data for insights and monitor transactions for compliance. In government, it enhances emergency response and policy analysis, while in healthcare, it creates personalized treatment plans and aids in medical research.
"By combining Anthropic's advanced AI capabilities with Deloitte's deep industry experience, we're not just deploying technology—we're helping to shape the future of work across sectors. Our goal is to help organizations responsibly harness trusted AI, with built-in safeguards for ethics and trust. We're enabling companies in any industry to safely integrate AI into complex business environments, from finance to health care and government. This alliance is about creating a future where AI enhances human potential and drives positive societal impact," said Dan Rosenthal, Global Head of Partnerships, Anthropic.
