Phenom has announced the acquisition of Tydy, a human resources technology company focused on delivering streamlined preboarding and onboarding experiences for employees. This move marks Phenom's fifth acquisition and another addition to its Intelligent Talent Experience platform.
The Phenom platform now offers a seamless employee journey from onboarding to offboarding by providing the necessary operational steps, verifications, and documentation for an employee's first day.

Founded in 2019, Tydy is an employee data platform that removes manual effort from HR, IT, and operations teams to provide efficient and personalized employee onboarding. Through the acquisition, Phenom's platform will be directly enriched by all of the capabilities of Tydy EDP, including compliance checks and approval orchestration, background checks, documentation collection and validation, initiation of payroll, and many more.

The acquisition follows Phenom's major HR tech innovations unveiled at IAMPHENOM 2024, including the Talent Experience Engine and X+ Agents. These innovations aim to help candidates find jobs faster, employees develop skills, recruiters become more productive, talent marketers engage efficiently, talent leaders optimize hiring, managers build better teams, HR align development with goals, and HRIT integrate HR tech seamlessly.
Last year, Phenom partnered with Pontoon to enhance the recruitment process by enabling Pontoon to effectively implement and utilize the platform.
