Salesforce has launched Pulse for Salesforce, a purpose-built edition of Tableau Pulse that brings out-of-the-box metrics and AI-powered insights directly into the workflow in Salesforce CRM, starting with Sales Cloud.
Built on the Einstein 1 Platform and leveraging generative AI, this tool provides CRM users with personalized insights and trends to support daily business decisions within their workflow. CRM users can now access personalized, contextual metrics and insights from Tableau Pulse natively in Salesforce to support daily business decisions.
“Historically, sales leaders and teams have lacked personalized, accessible data insights in their daily flow of work. And analysts often spend considerable time on ad hoc requests and repetitive queries, slowing down decision-making and business growth. By integrating Tableau Pulse’s AI-driven insights into Salesforce, we’re addressing these needs and enhancing data-driven decision-making to help businesses accelerate growth,” said Ryan Aytay, CEO of Tableau.
Tableau Pulse, launched earlier this year, is an AI-powered tool that automatically detects key drivers, trends, contributors, and outliers for important business metrics. It uses generative AI to provide automated analytics in plain language, directly within the user's workflow. For example, Pulse can alert sales leaders to a drop in performance, help them identify trends, assess whether metrics are within expected ranges, and proactively address potential questions while continually providing insights on demand.
Sales teams can leverage Pulse’s generative AI-powered summary of key trends right within Sales Cloud. and dig deeper using Pulse’s simplified insights experience to readily understand metrics like win rate and total sales. The tool also shows how different teams' win rates are trending. This also helps leaders see which team members need support. By utilizing the Einstein Trust Layer, a secure AI architecture within the Einstein 1 Platform, the tool ensures customers can confidently leverage generative AI while keeping their data safe and secure.
